Lavender Essential oil adds an extra level of soothing and protection. Elder Flower Crème is also available in an unscented version.

We make this crème in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. Avena's high quality face and body crèmes are delightfully reminiscent of our Biodynamic^® gardens. We slow-infuse our herbs into organic oils, creating a beautiful crème that is free of harsh chemicals and preservatives.

Ingredients: Apricot Kernel Oil^ infused with Chickweed (Stellaria media) aerial parts†, Calendula (Calendula officinalis) flowers†, Elder (Sambucus canadensis) flowers^, Coconut Oil^, Distilled Water, Rosewater, Beeswax, Lavender essential oil, Aspen bark powder extract.

Plant Profiles:

• Apricot Kernel Oil - Nourishing to the skin, soothing and vitalizing. Supports healthy circulation.
• Chickweed (Stellaria media) - Chickweed has an amazing ability to soothe, smooth, protect, and soften skin. A wonderful herb to support skin sensitivity.
• Calendula (Calendula officinalis) - This sunny and generous plant encourages tissue health and is soothing and balancing. Calendula helps reduce occasional redness of tissue and skin.
• Elder Flower (Sambucus canadensis) - Elder flowers are small white blossoms that are protective to the skin, support healthy circulation, and encourages healthy skin texture and integrity.
• Rosewater (Rosa spp.) - Refreshing, gentle, soothing, and cooling. Rosewater helps to uplift the spirit and balance the emotional heart while retaining your skin's natural smoothness and softness.
• Beeswax - Is a natural support to skin offering a mild protective layer. Beeswax helps create a creamy texture. Thank you bees!
• Lavender Essential Oil - The soothing essential oils of the Lavender plant add calming quality in aroma and effect.
• Aspen Bark Powder (Populus tremuloides) - Extracted from the bark of the American Aspen tree, which is high in naturally occurring salicylates. We use a very small percentage of Aspen bark extract powder to act as an all-natural preservative. Aspen bark extract powder also contributes to the smooth, silky texture of our Elder Flower Crème. This ingredient has a very mild effect on the skin, with low to no irritation potential.
• ABSOLUTELY FREE from synthetic preservatives and fragrances, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, glycols, artificial colors, DEA, BHT, and mineral oils.

Suggested Use: Apply daily to face and body with clean fingers. This product is created without synthetic preservatives and is best kept cool and out of direct sunlight.
